It’s Day 2 of my 2nd Birthday Celebration & Blog Tour. Yesterday I shared projects from two of my blogging friends. Today I have 2 more projects to share with you! This is my favorite part about designing patterns. Each project reflects the unique style and creativity of the maker. I love seeing the variety!
I have been following Melissa from A Happy Stitch for a couple of years. This year we got the chance to interact more with each other as part of the Betz White Sewing Collective. Melissa makes everything from dresses to bags and home decor items. And she has a few patterns available and plenty of free tutorials and tips on her blog. Her photos are always clean and bright, with modern style. After I wrote this little intro, Melissa wrote to tell me that her children had picked out the fabric themselves and it was pretty tacky. I assured her all the sewing moms understand! Tacky fabric = happy kids. You can’t argue with the giant smiles on their faces!
Linda blogs at Sew Happily Ever After. She’s a homeschool mom that enjoys sewing bags and items for her kids. You’ll find lots of project inspiration and tutorials on her blog as well. Linda used the Water Bottle Tote pattern to make a craft organizer. Her post explains the simple changes she made to the pattern if you want to make your own organizer!
Here’s the blog tour schedule if you’d like to follow along!
