Farmhouse Christmas Joy: Mini Fabric Collection for Holiday Home Decor

Fabric Design· Holidays

I just published several Christmas designs in my Spoonflower shop in a collection called “Farmhouse Christmas Joy“. It’s perfect for holiday home decor and gifts!

I ordered several fat quarters of linen-cotton canvas to make Christmas tea towels for my kitchen and for gifts. Fat quarters are 2-for-1 this week, so don’t miss that sale!

If you order a yard from Spoonflower, fat quarters end up being less than $7 each, which is great for things like hostess gifts.

I also wrote a tutorial for hemming Spoonflower tea towels several years ago.

If you don’t sew, but stumbled across this post and want to order tea towels that are finished, you can find tea towels (aqua snowflakes, red joy, charcoal joy)  and many other kitchen linens and home goods on Roostery.

These are perfect little Christmas gifts! I’ve never used the linen from Spoonflower. How do you like it compared to others?

Thank you! It’s a linen cotton blend. The weight is just right for tea towels. It washes nicely, without color fading. If I have any complaints, it’s that it holds wrinkles really well but for something like tea towels that’s fine.

Oh yay, tea towels – perfect teacher gifts for the end of the year. I could make matching pot holders too. I really love that charcoal fabric – very classy.

I love tea towels as gifts for teachers, pastor’s wife, office parties…you really can’t go wrong! I LOVE the idea of Christmas potholders.

Your print designs are gorgeous! I’m impressed with how the Spoonflower prints turned out. They look great on the tea towels!

Thank you! Spoonflower is so much better than they were the first couple of years. Digital printing has come a long way and I bet some of the fabric lines you are purchasing from shops is digitally printed now too!

I created this pattern with home decor in mind. I’m a bit of a minimalist at heart (as much as one can be with 7 children!) and simple block print style patterns are my favorite. ♥️

Maybe it adds a little bit of order in a world that can feel a little out of control.✏️ What do you do to bring some order back to your life when it’s feeling chaotic and hard?

Welcoming people and providing a supportive place to learn and grow is important to both of us! The Immersion Course is the most energetic and supportive community experience I have ever been part of.
